The Story of Seven Castle Cider

Hi there! I'm the founder, Karl Guenther, and I would like to share my story on why I started Seven Castle Cider.

Seven Castle Cider was started from my childhood memories. I would sit around holiday dinner tables with my Omi and there would always be sparkling apple cider for everyone to share. This was one of my favorite drinks and it made every meal shared together special. While everyone loved to share this sweet drink together, one thing was often brought up: why is it so expensive?

So, years later, I started to dream up the idea of a new cider, one that was more affordable than the competition but still offered the same excellent taste and high-end feel. That dream was brought to life while looking back further into the past; looking back into my own Transylvanian roots. 

The logo and name that you see are directly inspired by where my Omi was born, Siebenbürgen, also known as Transylvania. Transylvania's historical seal contains exactly seven castles, and so the merging of my family's history and love of sparkling apple cider was born:

It's my mission to make Seven Castle Cider the best tasting, healthiest, and most affordable non-alcoholic high-end beverage on the market. We are going to bring new flavors never before seen to the cider industry, and create a brand not simply around cider, but love for the simple yet mighty apple. We are also using every part of the apple imaginable; we are using our leftover peels and cores to make tea bags and other pre-made apple teas.

This is not just one product. This is a takeover, an apple enjoyment revolution. And there is so much more to come.
